Notice to Autodesk Inventor Customers
In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released an Inventor 2008 Service Pack 3
Client Update for Autodesk Vault Server 2010.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
- Do not install this update unless you have a clear need to access Autodesk Vault Server 2010 from Inventor 2008 Service Pack 3.
- You must install Autodesk Inventor 2008 Service Pack 3 before you can install Inventor 2008 Service Pack 3 Client Update for Autodesk Vault Server 2010.
- if you have previously installed Inventor 2008 Service Pack 3 Client Update for ADMS 2009, you must uninstall it before applying this update.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Download the update inventor2008_sp3_clientupdate_adms2010.zip. (This version of the Client Update for Vault Server can also be applied to all other language versions of the product except the Hungarian.)
- Unzip inventor2008_sp3_clientupdate_adms2010.zip.
- Double-click setup.exe to begin the installation

NOTES
This tool allows users to access Autodesk Vault Server 2010 from Inventor 2008 Service Pack 3.
The Client Update must be uninstalled and reinstalled any time a repair is run on Inventor.
The Client Update must be uninstalled first, before uninstalling Inventor. No specific prompting is available.
Inventor must be closed when uninstalling the Client Update.
