Revit 2010 Hotfix - Wall Modifications 2

Description of Problem

This hotfix addresses issues related to deleting or modifying of a walls, a crash may occur.

NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process.

NOTE: You must have Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk Revit 2010 installed on the system in order to apply this hotfix.

This installation requires you to replace the following file:


To Install the Hotfix on a 32-bit system

  1. Close all software applications.
  2. Make sure the Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk Revit 2010 is installed on the system.
  3. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit <ProductName> 2010\Program
  4. Rename the affected original file.
  5. Extract the RevitDB.dll located in the 20090925_1815_revit_2010_wall_modification_hotfix_x32.zip to C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit <ProductName> 2010\Program

To Install the Hotfix on a 64-bit system

  1. Close all software applications.
  2. Make sure the Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk Revit 2010 is installed on the system.
  3. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit <ProductName> 2010\Program
  4. Rename the affected original file.
