In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this hotfix which resolves black preview swatch which was identified after Revit^® 2011 was released.

Note: You must have Autodesk^® Revit^® 2011 Update 2 installed on the system in order to see the benefit of this hotfix.

To Install the Hotfix

• Close all software applications.
• Make sure the Autodesk Revit 2011 Update 2 is installed on the system.
• Navigate to the Autodesk Shared folder; for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials2011\assetlibrary_base.fbm\SwatchScenes
• Rename the affected original file.
In the SwatchScenes folder, right-click the light.swatch.color.temperature.fbx file and rename it light.swatch.color.temperature.bak.
• Extract the light.swatch.color.temperature.fbx located in the 20100903_2115_revit_2011_Black_Preview_hotfix.zip to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials2011\assetlibrary_base.fbm\SwatchScenes

This hotfix updates the light.swatch.color.temperature.fbx file.
