In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this updated (6/30/2011) Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 Client Update for Autodesk Vault 2012 Server Releases. This Client Update does not apply to Autodesk Inventor 2011 Service Pack 2. A separate Client Update is available for Autodesk Inventor 2011 Service Pack 2 installations.

NOTE: The updated (6/30/2011) version of the client update replaces all previously released version, which should be uninstalled prior to installing this updated (6/30/2011) Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 Client Update for Autodesk Vault 2012 Server Releases.

• Do not install this Client Update unless you have a clear need to access an Autodesk Vault 2012 Server release from your Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 installation.
• You must install Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 before you can install Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 Client Update for Autodesk Vault 2012 Server Releases.
• Install only the bit-type version of Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 Client Update for Autodesk Vault 2012 Server Releases that corresponds to the bit-type version of your operating system.
• After this Client Update is installed, the Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack SP2 Vault Add-In will not load until any of the Vault Clients 2012 is installed from the original media.
• To ensure normal functionality when accessing Inventor DWG files from within Vault Explorer 2012, after this Client Update is installed onto Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack SP2, perform the following operations: Close all applications, including Autodesk Inventor Subscription Advantage Pack 2011 SP2, then start and close Autodesk Inventor 2012 or Autodesk Inventor View 2012. This needs to be done after every Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack SP2 session.
• After uninstalling this Client Update, a Repair Install should be run on the Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack SP2 installation in order to make the Vault Add-in function correctly again.

• Verify you have administrator privileges on your local machine to install this Client Update.
• On Windows Vista installations, disable the User Account Control feature.
• The 32-bit version of Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 Client Update for Autodesk Vault 2012 Server Releases is approximately 35 MB in size. A minimum of 205 MB of free disk space is required on the drive where your temporary files are directed.
• The 64-bit version of Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 Client Update for Autodesk Vault 2012 Server Releases is approximately 35 MB in size. A minimum of 180 MB of free disk space is required on the drive where your temporary files are directed.

To install Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2 Client Update for Autodesk Vault 2012 Server Releases:
1. Update your operating system before installing this Client Update. Reboot your system after the updates are installed.
2. Download the appropriate bit-type version of the Client Update, either 32-bit or 64-bit, depending upon the bit-type of your operating system.
3. If you had installed any previously released version of this client update, you should uninstall it at this time. Additionally, a Repair Install should be run on your installation of Autodesk Inventor 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack Service Pack 2.
4. Double click the inventor2011_subadvpk_sp2_clientupdate_adms2012_updated06302011_x86/64.msp file to begin the installation. When done, click Finish.
5. If required, reboot the system after the installation is finished.

NOTE: In order to avoid errors seen within Vault Explorer 2012, on Update View operations performed on Inventor assembly files, we recommend that you also install Inventor 2011 SP2 Hotfix DL17019650.
