Autodesk Civil 3D 2006 Hot Fix 1

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released the Autodesk Civil 3D 2006 Hot Fix 1.

This Readme contains information regarding the installation and use of this Hot Fix. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the Hot Fix to your product. For your reference, you should save this Readme to your hard drive or print a copy.

Who Should Install Hot Fix 1?

This Hot Fix is for the English-language versions of Autodesk Civil 3D 2006 running on non-English-language operating systems.

Important: You cannot run an automatic uninstall to remove this Hot Fix. It is recommended that you make a back up of the affected files as described in the installation instructions so they can be restored if necessary.

Summary of Hot Fix 1

When running the English version of Autodesk Civil 3D 2006 on a non-English-language operating system, the COM Server DLL files fail to load. As a result, the COM API is inaccessible and the corridor modeling functionality does not work properly.

This Hot Fix provides updated COM Loader DLL files that fix this issue.

Installing Hot Fix 1

  1. Close any open sessions of Autodesk Civil 3D.
  2. Create a back up of the following files located in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared folder:
