In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released an updated stand alone version of Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 10 SP3a.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
=============================

- You must have Administrator privileges on your local machine to install Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 10.

- The stand alone Autodesk Inventor View can NOT be installed on the same system where Autodesk Inventor 10 software has been installed. Autodesk Inventor 10 already contains this utility built in.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
=============================

(1) Download the stand alone version of Autodesk Inventor View (Autodesk_Inventor_View.zip).

(2) Unzip the downloaded file.

(2) Double-click setup.exe to begin the installation.

(3) Reboot the system after the installation is complete.

KNOWN ISSUES
=============================

- When installing the Standalone Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 10 SP3a, the build number information displayed will be 272.  This is the same information that will also be displayed under the support information in add/remove programs.  However, the Help->About Inventor View will display a build number of 271.

Notes

This tool allows users to view native Autodesk Inventor CAD data.

The size of the stand alone version of Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 10 is approximately 40 MB. You must have a minimum of 60 MB of free disk space on the drive where your temporary files are directed for Autodesk Inventor View install to complete successfully.
