Autodesk Land Desktop 2005 Hot Fix 2

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released the Autodesk Land Desktop 2005 Hot Fix 2.

This Readme contains information regarding the installation and use of this Hot Fix. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the Hot Fix to your product. For your reference, you should save this Readme to your hard drive or print a copy.

Who Should Install Hot Fix 2?

This Hot Fix is for all versions of Autodesk Land Desktop 2005.

Important: You cannot run an automatic uninstall to remove this Hot Fix. It is recommended that you make a back up of the affected files as described in the installation instructions so they can be restored if necessary.

Summary of Hot Fix 2

When Autodesk Land Desktop 2005 is installed on the same machine as Autodesk Land Desktop 2006, the Import LandXML and Export LandXML commands may not work.

This Hot Fix provides updated files that fix this issue.

Installing Hot Fix 2

  1. Close any open sessions of Autodesk Land Desktop.
  2. Ensure that you have installed Autodesk Land Desktop 2005 first and then Autodesk Land Desktop 2006. If you installed Autodesk Land Desktop 2006 first, you must uninstall both products and reinstall them (2005 first and then 2006).
  3. Create a back up of the following files located in the C:\Program Files\Land Desktop 2005 folder:
  4. Download the Hot Fix and save it to any folder.
  5. Open the Hot Fix zip file and specify the following options:
