In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released hotfix DL16094377 which addresses an issue where the BOM quantity is wrong when it has units and is set to "Static Quantity". For complete resolution of this and other issues, detailed below, please install the Autodesk Vault Professional Hotfix TS16092983 in conjunction with this Inventor 2011 Hotfix.

This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

This Hotfix, in conjunction with Autodesk Vault Professional 2011 Hotfix TS16092983, addresses the following issues:

1. Mapping item number from Blocks and Part References
2. Lost detail ID during item assign
3. BOM quantity gets multiplied when overriding tube and pipe length in Inventor
4. Wrong BOM quantity when QTY has units and is set to "Static Quantity"

Please install both Hotfixes to provide full resolution to the issues above.

This hotfix should only be applied to systems directly affected by the issue described above, as this was the only issue this hotfix was created to address.

This hotfix is available in 32bit and 64bit versions (downloaded together as one bundle) and is only applicable to Autodesk Inventor 2011 Service Pack 1. If you do not have Service Pack 1 please download and install prior to installing this Hotfix. Once installed, it will appear as an update under Add/Remove Programs and can be uninstalled from there.

1. Download hotfix DL16094377.zip for Autodesk Inventor 2011 Service Pack 1.
2. Extract DL16094377_32-bit.msp, DL16094377_64-bit.msp and TS16092983.zip from the zip file downloaded in step 1.
3. Double click on the appropriate .msp file (32-bit or 64-bit) to install this hotfix on each system running Autodesk Inventor 2011 Service Pack 1.
4. Chose Next to begin the install...
5. Once finished you'll receive the Autodesk Inventor 2011 Setup dialog box stating that the update has been successfully applied.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation and exit the dialog box.
7. Open TS16092983.zip.
8. Install Hotfix TS16092983 following the specific detailed instructions listed in the TS16092983_Readme file.
