DL21026960 - Autodesk Vault 2013 - Inventor Add In Update

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this hotfix which provides the following updates;

  • Correction for extracted BOM quantities.
  • Fixing Vault dialog memory leaks.
  • This README file highlights how to install this hotfix and other important information regarding this update.

    Description of the Issues

    1. When checking in assemblies to a Vault, an incorrect BOM quantity may be extracted resulting in incorrect Item quantities.
    2. For very large assemblies, invoking Vault dialogs can result in an out of memory condition and an Inventor crash.

    Known Issues

    The update applies to new data added to a Vault. Existing data will need to be checked out, edited and checked in to correct BOM data.

  • The updated ​files are version 17.1.16.40.

  • Installation Instructions

    1. Download the hotfix to a temporary directory on the workstation.
    2. Extract the DL21026960.msp file to the temporary directory.
    3. Double-click on DL21026960.msp to install the hotfix.
    4. Install the hotfix on each applicable workstation.
