Notice to Autodesk Vault Data Management Customers

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this readme to address the following issue:

Button description is incorrect when attempting to download a file with restricted access.

Button description is incorrect when attempting to download a file with restricted access in Vault Professional 2013. There are two buttons with same name “Skip” in the warning dialog,while they should be “Skip all” and “Skip”.

The problem was observed on the Vault Client side and can be solved using the below method.

This workaround is applicable for Vault Professional 2013 German/Japanese/Russian/Polish only.

This workaround should only be applied to systems directly affected by the issue(s) described above. These are the only issues for which this hotfix has been created to address.

For installed Vault Professional 2013 32 bit:

1. Download the Hotfix zip file to your hard disk.

2. The problem was observed in "Autodesk.DataManagement.Client.Framework.Forms.resources.dll" file at:

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\ADMS Professional 2013\ADMS Console\[lang]"

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Professional 2013\Explorer\[lang]"

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\ADMS Professional 2013\Server\Web\WebClient\bin\[lang]"

3. Extract the Hotfix zip file to folders above and overwrite the existing files.

For installed Vault Professional 2013 64 bit:

1. Download the Hotfix zip file to your hard disk.

2. The problem was observed in "Autodesk.DataManagement.Client.Framework.Forms.resources.dll" file at:

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\ADMS Professional 2013\ADMS Console\[lang]"

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Professional 2013\Explorer\[lang]"

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\ADMS Professional 2013\Server\Web\WebClient\bin\[lang]"

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Professional 2013\Autoloader\Explorer\[lang]"

3. Extract the Hotfix zip file to folders above and overwrite the existing files.
