Notice to Autodesk Vault Data Management Customers

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this readme to address the following issue:

Vault Basic Office add-in tab cannot display correctly in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Words and Microsoft Powerpoint.

Vault Basic Office add-in tab cannot display correctly in Microsoft office 32 bit on a Windows 64 bit environment.

The problem was observed on the Vault Client side and can be solved using the below methods.

This workaround is applicable for Vault Basic 2013 64 Bit only.

This workaround should only be applied to systems directly affected by the issue(s) described above. These are the only issues for which this readme file has been created to address.

For installed Vault Basic 2013 64 bit:

1. Copy file "VaultAddInRes.dll" and “VaultClientRes.dll” from your Vault Basic Client installation folder:

"(Your installation folder)\x86\[lang-lang]\Vault\Program Files\Autodesk\Data Management Applications\Office Addin 2013\"

2. Navigate to the folder below:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Data Management Applications\Office Addin 2013\"

3. Paste "VaultAddInRes.dll" and “VaultClientRes.dll” to above folder overwriting the existing files.
