Notice to Autodesk Vault Data Management Customers

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this readme to address the following issue:

Unable to invoke the Vault Log In dialog from Inventor Task Scheduler.

Unable to invoke the Vault Log In dialog from Inventor Task Scheduler after installation of German Version Inventor 2013 and German version Vault Professional/WorkGroup/Collaboration 2013.

The problem was observed on the Vault Client side and can be solved using the below methods.

This workaround is applicable for Vault Professional/WorkGroup/Collaboration 2013 64 Bit German only.

This workaroundshould only be applied to systems directly affected by the issue(s) described above. These are the only issues for which this hotfix has been created to address.

Standalone Installation:

For installed Vault Professional/Workgroup/Collaboration 2013 64 bit:

1. Download the Hotfix zip file to your hard disk.

2. Navigate to below folder as following:

"..\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\Bin\"

3. Extract the Hotfix zip file to the above folder overwriting the existing files.

Network Installation:

For Vault Professional 2013 64 bit:

1. Download the Hotfix zip file to your hard disk.

2. The problem was observed in "TSVaultLibRes.dll" file at:

"<Network Drive>\<Deployment>\AdminImage\x64\de-DE\VaultProfessional\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Professional 2013\Addin\Inventor 17.0"

"<Network Drive>\<Deployment>\AdminImage\x64\de-DE\VaultProfessional\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Professional 2013\Addin\Inventor LT 17.0"

3. Extract the Hotfix zip file to above folders overwriting the existing files.

For Vault Workgroup 2013 64 bit:

1. Download the Hotfix zip file to your hard disk.

2. The problem was observed in "TSVaultLibRes.dll " file at:

"<Network Drive>\<Deployment>\AdminImage\x64\de-DE\VaultWorkgroup\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Workgroup 2013\Addin\Inventor 17.0"

"<Network Drive>\<Deployment>\AdminImage\x64\de-DE\VaultWorkgroup\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Workgroup 2013\Addin\Inventor LT 17.0"

3. Extract the Hotfix zip file to above folders overwriting the existing files.

For Vault Collaboration 2013 64 bit:

1. Download the Hotfix zip file to your hard disk.

2. The problem was observed in "TSVaultLibRes.dll " file at:

"<Network Drive>\<Deployment>\AdminImage\x64\de-DE\VaultCollaboration\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Collaboration 2013\Addin\Inventor 17.0"

"<Network Drive>\<Deployment>\AdminImage\x64\de-DE\VaultCollaboration\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Collaboration 2013\Addin\Inventor LT 17.0"

3. Extract the Hotfix zip file to above folders overwriting the existing files.
