In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released below hotfix to resolve the translation issue in Traditional Chinese AutoCAD Electrical in Autodesk Product Design Suite 2013 product on 64-bit operating system. This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and usage of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Description of the Issue

The hotfix is released to correct translation issue displays in Traditional Chinese AutoCAD Electrical in Autodesk Product Design Suite 2013 product on 64-bit operating system. The hotfix should only be applied to systems directly affected by the issue described above, as this was the only issue this hotfix was created to address.

For application of this hotfix, your system must have the following product installed:

• AutoCAD Electrical 2013

1. Download hotfix PrDS_2013_ACADE_2013_Unlocalized_UI_CHT_HotFix.zip.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Make a backup copy for below files:
   • wd.env
   • footprint_lookup.mdb

   For wd.env, its location on Win7 and xp OS is below:

   • Win7: C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Acade 2013\AeData
   • XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\My Documents\Acade 2013\AeData

   For footprint_lookup.mdb, its location on Win7 and xp OS is below:

   • Win7: C:\Users\admin\Documents\Acade 2013\AeData\Catalogs
   • XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\My Documents\Acade 2013\AeData\Catalogs
4. Copy the extracted files to the same installation folder, overwrite the files located there.
