In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released below hotfix to address overlap issue displays for long material name in title block area for GOST drawing file in Russian Inventor in Autodesk Factory Design Suite 2013. This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and usage of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

Description of the Issue

The hotfix is released to correct overlap issue displays for long material name in title block area for GOST drawing file in Russian Inventor in Autodesk Factory Design Suite 2013. The hotfix should only be applied to systems directly affected by the issue described above, as this was the only issue this hotfix was created to address.

For application of this hotfix, your system must have one of the following products installed:

• Autodesk® Inventor® Professional 2013
• Autodesk® Inventor® 2013

1. Download hotfix FDS2013&PrDS2013_GOST_RUS_Templates_x86_hotfix.zip or FDS2013&PrDS2013_GOST_RUS_Templates_x64_hotfix.zip for 32 bit or 64 bit OS.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Make a backup copy for below files:
   • Autodesk.iLogic.resources.dll
   • ГОСТ.dwg
   • ГОСТ.idw
   • GOSTRes.dll

   For Autodesk.iLogic.resources.dll, it’s located in the installation folder of Inventor. Usually, the path is:

   ……\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\Bin\ru-RU

   For ГОСТ.dwg and ГОСТ.idw in “Templates” folder, there is different installation path between win7 and xp OS, and the path is:

   • Win7: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\
   • XP: <Installation drive>\Program Files\Autodesk\ Inventor 2013\

   For GOSTRes.dll, it’s located in the installation folder of Inventor. Usually, the path is:

   ……\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\Bin\ru-RU

4. Copy the extracted files to the same installation folder, overwrite the files located there.
