Readme for the
Autodesk® Civil Batch Drawing Converter Utility

 

The Autodesk® Civil Batch Drawing Converter Utility lets you set the INSUNITS in a drawing to any supported unit in order to insure correct scale and display when you open the drawing in Autodesk Land Desktop 2006.

Before you can successfully install and use this utility, you must have the following installed on your computer:

 

Installation Instructions

To install the Autodesk Civil Batch Drawing Converter Utility:

  1. Make sure Autodesk Land Desktop is not running on your computer.
  2. From the Autodesk Land Desktop Product Support website (Data and Downloads), double-click the file CivilBatchDrawingConverter.exe.
  3. Follow the installation instructions in the Autodesk Civil Batch Drawing Converter Installation Wizard.

For additional instructions, click the Help button on the Civil Batch Drawing Converter Utility dialog box.


Using the Autodesk Civil Batch Drawing Converter Utility

To launch this utility, launch Autodesk Land Desktop 2006 and enter CivilBatchConverter at the command line. In the Civil Batch Drawing Converter Utility dialog box, specify the following:

For information on how to add this command to a menu or toolbar, see Customize the User Interface in the Customization Guide of the AutoCAD 2006 Help. For example, you may want to add this command to the Utilities menu.

NOTE: You cannot run this utility on an open source drawing.
