Roombook Localization Hotfix

This hotfix repairs several localization oversights for roombook in non-English versions.

Description of Problem

The roombook contents are not translated from English into other languages.

To Install Roombook Localization Hotfix

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process.

This installation requires you to replace the following files:

To Replace the above Files

  1. Close all software applications.
  2. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\. Search AecRoomBookDBRes.dll and AecStandardVobUIRes.dll, and rename all files found including these in other language packs by adding .bak to their filenames:
  3. Navigate to for content drawings folder, for example C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ACA 2013\deu\Styles, and rename Roombook Style.dwg file by adding .bak to its filename:

Navigate to tool palettes files folder, for example: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ACA 2013\deu\Support\ in Win7 or Vista, or C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Autodesk\ACA 2013\deu\Support\ in XP Operating System. Search all Roombook_77110B36-60EB-430D-AF1D-912A51824523.atc, and rename all found files by adding .bak to their filenames:
  5. Download and extract the hotfix file for your application to a location on your local computer:

To Uninstall This Hotfix

    Delete the new four files that you downloaded to the folders specified from Step 2 to Step 4 and restore the files you renamed to their original names.
