Notice to Autodesk Manufacturing Customers

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Hotfix TS1054609, which addresses various issues with AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 and Autodesk Mechanical Desktop 2007.

This README file highlights what has been fixed or addressed, where to download the update and how to install it.

You must have administrative privileges to be able to install Hotfix TS1054609 on AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 or Autodesk Mechanical Desktop 2007 on Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the Hotfix TS1054609 installer for the applicable product and version:





AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 (locked or unlocked)




Mechanical Desktop 2007 - AIS 11 (locked or unlocked)




Mechanical Desktop 2007 - AIP 11 (locked or unlocked)




Mechanical Desktop 2007 - AIP for Routed Systems 11 (locked)




Mechanical Desktop 2007 - AIP for Simulation 11 (locked)



Note: The above hotfixes will update all language versions.

  1. Double click the installer to run it.
  1. Once finished you will receive a dialog box stating that the update has been successfully applied.

To verify that the Hotfix is properly installed, start AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 or Mechanical Desktop 2007 and type AMVER at the command prompt.  A text window is displayed and should report "AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 Hotfix1" or "Mechanical Desktop 2007 Hotfix1".

Note: If your copy of AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 is part of a Mechanical Desktop 2007 installation, you need only to apply the appropriate Hotfix for Mechanical Desktop 2007.
