There are two types of files that you will use to complete the AutoCAD Architecture
2010 tutorials: tutorial documentation and training files.

The documentation is available in Help format (CHM) and in PDF format. The tutorial
documentation is contained in the following files:

- aca_tutorial_documents_i.zip (Imperial users)
- aca_tutorial_documents_m.zip (Metric users)

The tutorial training files include all of the drawings and project files used
in the tutorials, and are contained in the following files:

- aca_tutorial_datasets_i.zip (Imperial users)
- aca_tutorial_datasets_m.zip (Metric users)

	IMPORTANT: If you are running Windows Vista, you must be an administrator 
	in order to extract the tutorial documentation and training files.

Follow these steps to download and extract the tutorial documentation to your hard drive:

1. Minimize AutoCAD Architecture 2010 if it is open and close the Help if it is open.

2. Click aca_tutorial_documents_i.zip or aca_tutorial_documents_m.zip.

3. Click Save and save the file to a folder of your choice.

4. To extract the tutorial documentation from the folder you indicated above
double-click the aca_tutorial_documents_i.zip or 
aca_tutorial_documents_m.zip file.
 
	Use the following path for the Extract to folder location:

	c:\Program Files\AutoCAD Architecture 2010\Help (Windows XP users)
	
	c:\Users\[username]\Desktop (Windows Vista users)

	Note: If you are running Windows Vista, you must extract the tutorial
 	documentation files to the Desktop, and manually copy the tutorial
	CHM and PDF files to c:\Program Files\AutoCAD Architecture 2010\Help.

5. Click Extract.

6. Click Yes to All, when asked to replace the existing file.

	Note: Extracting the tutorial CHM files to this location adds the tutorials
	to the online Help system. The printable PDF version is also available at
	the same location.

7. Close the dialog.


8. Open AutoCAD Architecture 2010.

You can now access the tutorials from the Help by clicking Tutorials on the Help
menu. (The Help menu is accessed by clicking the drop-down arrow to the right of
the ? icon in the application title bar.)



Follow these steps to download and extract the tutorial training files to your hard drive:

1. Click aca_tutorial_datasets_i.zip or aca_tutorial_datasets_m.zip.

2. Click Save and save the file to a folder of your choice.

3. To extract the training files from the folder you indicated above, double-click
the aca_tutorial_datasets_i.zip or aca_tutorial_datasets_m.zip file.
 
	Use the following path for the Extract to folder location:

	c:\My Documents\Autodesk\My Projects.

	IMPORTANT: The location of the My Documents folder can vary. To identify its
	location on your machine, right-click My Documents on the desktop,
	click Properties, and examine the value for Target. 

4. Click Extract.

5. Close the dialog.

The tutorial training files are now available for use in the tutorial procedures.
