In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released a 
package of hotfixes/utilities that address correction and maintenance of DWF to 
file/item associations in a vault.

The hotfixes and utilities contained in this package also address additional issues. 
Reference each README for more details.

This README file highlights how to optimally utilize the provided package with 
regard to the DWF solution and provides high-level instructions for the deployment 
approach.

Description of the issue:

The following description summarizes each component's purpose in order to provide 
greater understanding and reasoning behind their intention.


- TS1069366 (R5_SP1): This hotfix addresses an Inventor check-in issue where a DWF 
publishing error causes a DWF file to be created locally, but not checked into the 
vault.  The checked in 2D/3D file may become associated with its prior DWF version 
in the vault.

- DWFRepair (R5_SP1): Utilizing this utility in 'fix' mode will remove 
specific file/item to DWF associations in the vault possibly caused by the DWF 
publishing failure reasons stated above.

- TS1070728 (R5_SP1):  This hotfix adds files required by the Autodesk Data 
Management Server  to support the DWFGenerate utility to search for and publish 
appropriate DWFs in a Vault.

- DWFGenerate (R5_SP1): This publishing utility searches for and publishes 
missing DWFs in a vault, for the latest released item revisions and the latest 
file versions, without revisioning/versioning them.

Deployment Overview:

This is the deployment order for optimal results. It is required to follow the 
pre-requirements and deployment instructions inside the README for each component.

Autodesk Data Management Server R5_SP1 users:
-------------------------------------------------
    1. TS1069366:  Apply this data management hotfix on both client and server to 
prevent a known issue with invalid file/item to DWF associations in the vault.  Follow 
the README for detailed instructions.
    2. DWFRepair:  Run the utility on the server in 'report' mode to get a list of 2D/3D 
files whose DWF associations will be removed.  Run it again in 'fix' mode to perform 
cleanup.  Alternatively, run it in 'fixandreport' mode to do both tasks at once. Follow 
the README for detailed instructions.
    3. TS1070728:  Server hotfix that provides required files to support the DWFGenerate 
utility. Follow the README for detailed instructions.
    4. DWFGenerate for R5_SP1:  Run this utility on a workstation to re-create DWFs and add them 
to the vault with the proper associations.  This replaces the removed entries for the 
latest released item revisions and the latest file versions without revisioning/versioning 
them. Follow the README for detailed instructions.
