ASD 2010_HF2 Hotfix

Description of Problems

This hotfix includes the following corrections in the steel module of AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2010:

• Operation of snap points for plates has been improved.

• The precision of drawing arcs has been improved.

• Insertion of user-defined dimensions has been corrected on rotated viewports, the rotate command has been blocked on the AutoCAD Structural Detailing viewports because it could lead to incorrect dimension values.

Installation Instructions

To Install ASD 2010_HF2 Hotfix

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft^® Windows^® operating system to complete the installation process.

This installation requires you to replace the following files:

• RbCSDimensioning.arx

• RBCSDrawing.dbx

• RbcsUIDimStl.dll

• RBCTRoot.dbx

To Replace these files

1. Close all software applications.
2. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2010.
3. Rename the affected original files:
   
   • In the product installation folder, right-click the RbCSDimensioning.arx file and rename it RbCSDimensioning.bak.
   • In the product installation folder, right-click the RBCSDrawing.dbx file and rename it RBCSDrawing.bak.
   • In the product installation folder, right-click the RbcsUIDimStl.dll file and rename it RbcsUIDimStl.bak.
   • In the product installation folder, right-click the RBCTRoot.dbx file and rename it RBCTRoot.bak.
4. Double click the file:
   
   • ASD 2010_HF2.zip.
5. Extract the files to the product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2010.
