Workflow Toolkit Hotfix

Description of Problem

When Importing an Autodesk Exchange file, *.adsk, that was created by a product on an operating system using a different Regional and Language setting than the operating system of the current product, a crash may occur.

Installation Instructions

To Install the Workflow Toolkit Hotfix for a 32-bit applicaiton.

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft^® Windows^® operating system to complete the installation process.

This installation requires you to replace the following files:

• AecWorkflowUtilities.arx
• BuildingComponent-1_0-vc90-wt.dll
• BuildingSite-1_0-vc90-wt.dll
• WorkflowBase-1_0-vc90-wt.dll
• WorkflowMgd-1_0-vc90-wt.dll

To determine if you need this hotfix

1. Close all software applications.
2. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Architecture 2010.
3. Select the file WorkflowBase-1_0-vc90-wt.dll, right-click go to the Details or Version tab check the File Version.
• If the file version is not 1.0.40.0 or newer then you do need to install this hotfix.
4. Rename the affected original file.
• In the product installation folder, right-click the AecWorkflowUtilities.arx file and rename it AecWorkflowUtilities.bak.
• In the product installation folder, right-click the BuildingComponent-1_0-vc90-wt.dll file and rename it BuildingComponent-1_0-vc90-wt.bak.
• In the product installation folder, right-click the BuildingSite-1_0-vc90-wt.dll file and rename it BuildingSite-1_0-vc90-wt.bak.
• In the product installation folder, right-click the WorkflowBase-1_0-vc90-wt.dll file and rename it WorkflowBase-1_0-vc90-wt.bak.
• In the product installation folder, right-click the WorkflowMgd-1_0-vc90-wt.dll file and rename it WorkflowMgd-1_0-vc90-wt.bak.
5. Double click the file AutoCAD_Arch_Workflow_Toolkit_Hotfix_32bit .zip.
6. Extract all the files to the product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Architecture 2010.

This installation requires you to replace the following files:

• BuildingComponent-1_0-vc90-x64-wt.dll
• BuildingSite-1_0-vc90-x64-wt.dll
• WorkflowBase-1_0-vc90-x64-wt.dll
• WorkflowMgd-1_0-vc90-wt.dll

To determine if you need this hotfix

1. Close all software applications.
2. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Architecture 2010.
3. Select the file WorkflowBase-1_0-vc90-x64-wt.dll, right-click go to the Details or Version tab check the File Version.

• In the product installation folder, right-click the WorkflowMgd-1_0-vc90-wt.dll file and rename it WorkflowMgd-1_0-vc90-wt.bak.
5. Double click the file AutoCAD_Arch_Workflow_Toolkit_Hotfix_64bit .zip.
6. Extract all the files to the product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Architecture 2010.
