This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this hotfix.

If you have not applied Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011, do not install this hotfix.

It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply this hotfix to your product.

This hotfix applies to AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 with Service Pack 1 applied.

Sloped Pipe

Corrected a problem that made it impossible to place a flange at the intersection of a sloped pipe and an elbow.
Corrected a problem that caused a cutback elbow to become disconnected after using the plantpipeslope command.

NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to complete the installation process.


1.		On the computer where the affected product is installed, close all software applications.
2.		Download either "AutoCAD_Plant_3D_2011_Hotfix2_32bit.exe" or "AutoCAD_Plant_3D_2011_Hotfix2_64bit.exe".
3.		Run the .EXE to unzip the updated files. Modify the default program files path if you installed to a location other than the default folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011
4.		Click Yes in the Confirm File Replace dialog for PnP3dPipeUI.dll. The new file version is 2.0.137.101.
5.		Start AutoCAD Plant 3D and verify that it is running.
