This hotfix applies to AutoCAD Plant 3D 2012.

Sloped Pipe

Corrected a problem that made it impossible to place a flange at the intersection of a sloped pipe and an elbow.
Corrected a problem that caused a cutback elbow to become disconnected after using the plantpipeslope command.

Routing with Cutback Elbows

Corrected a problem that caused a cutback elbow (or other elbow that is not 90 degrees) to become placed off centerline when routing.

NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to complete the installation process.


1.		On the computer where the affected product is installed, close all software applications.
2.		Download either "AutoCAD_Plant_3D_2012_Hotfix1_32bit.exe" or "AutoCAD_Plant_3D_2012_Hotfix1_64bit.exe".
3.		Run the .EXE to unzip the updated files. Modify the default program files path if you installed to a location other than the default folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2012
4.		Click Yes in the Confirm File Replace dialog for PnP3dPipeUI.dll. The new file version is 3.0.39.1.
5.		Start AutoCAD Plant 3D and verify that it is running.
