Thank you for downloading AutoCAD® Plant 3D or AutoCAD P&ID 2011 Hotfix 1 

This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this hotfix.

If you have not applied Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 or AutoCAD P&ID 2011, do not install this hotfix.

It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply this hotfix to your product.

P&ID and Plant 3D

The following fixes apply to both AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD P&ID:

NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to complete the installation process.

 

 

 

1.
  On the computer where the affected product is installed, close all software applications (including the Spec Editor).
2.
  For AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011, download either "AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 Hotfix1.exe" or "AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 Hotfix1.x64.exe".

  For AutoCAD P&ID 2011, download either "AutoCAD P&ID 2011 Hotfix1.exe" or "AutoCAD P&ID 2011 Hotfix1.x64.exe".
  NOTE: Choose the file that matches your operating system – x64 is for 64-bit.

Run the .EXE to unzip the updated files.  Modify the default program files path if you installed to a location other than the default folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 or C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD P&ID 2011

  Click Yes in the Confirm File Replace dialog for PnPDataGrid.dll and PnPProjectManagerMgd.dll
  For AutoCAD Plant 3D also click Yes to replace SpecsAndCatalogsEditor.exe and PnP3dIso.arx.
6.
  Right Click on "PnPProjectManagerMgd.dll" and click Properties.
7.
  For Windows XP, click on the Version tab, and for Windows Vista and Windows 7 click on the Details tab.
  Check the File Version for AutoCAD Plant 3D is 2.0.137.100 and for AutoCAD P&ID it is 5.0.137.100.  Verify that the version is the same for all replaced files.
8.
  Start AutoCAD Plant 3D or AutoCAD P&ID and verify that it is running.
