This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this hotfix.

If you have not applied Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 or AutoCAD P&ID 2011, do not install this hotfix.

It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply this hotfix to your product.

This hotfix applies to the following products that have Service Pack 1 applied:

· AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011

· AutoCAD P&ID 2011

P&ID and Plant 3D

The following fixes apply to both AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD P&ID:

Creating a project based on another project - Corrected a problem that prevented the creation of a new project based on an existing project.
Exporting a filtered report - Corrected a problem that caused all data to be displayed in the exported report instead of only the specified filtered data.

Plant 3D

The following fixes apply only to AutoCAD Plant 3D:

Isometric drawings - Corrected a problem that caused the display of a component's long description at the point of connection between two iso drawings. The drawing number of the connecting drawing is now displayed instead.
Incorrect bolt lengths in PCF file - Corrected a problem that caused all bolt lengths to change when a longer bolt was required for a wafer-style valve flange.
Assigning a metric actuator as a valve operator (Catalog Editor) - Corrected a problem that prevented assigning a metric actuator as a valve operator.

Creating a second actuator (Catalog Editor) - Corrected a problem that prevented the creation of a second actuator.

NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to complete the installation process.


1.		On the computer where the affected product is installed, close all software applications (including the Spec Editor).
2.		For AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011, download either "AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 Hotfix1.exe" or "AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 Hotfix1.x64.exe".
3.		For AutoCAD P&ID 2011, download either "AutoCAD P&ID 2011 Hotfix1.exe" or "AutoCAD P&ID 2011 Hotfix1.x64.exe".
		NOTE: Choose the file that matches your operating system – x64 is for 64-bit.
4.		Run the .EXE to unzip the updated files. Modify the default program files path if you installed to a location other than the default folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 or C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD P&ID 2011
5.		Click Yes in the Confirm File Replace dialog for PnPDataGrid.dll and PnPProjectManagerMgd.dll.
		For AutoCAD Plant 3D also click Yes to replace SpecsAndCatalogsEditor.exe and PnP3dIso.arx.
6.		Right Click on "PnPProjectManagerMgd.dll" and click Properties.
7.		For Windows XP, click on the Version tab, and for Windows Vista and Windows 7 click on the Details tab.
		Check the File Version for AutoCAD Plant 3D is 2.0.137.100 and for AutoCAD P&ID it is 5.0.137.100. Verify that the version is the same for all replaced files.
8.		Start AutoCAD Plant 3D or AutoCAD P&ID and verify that it is running.
