<li type="disc">Please consult the Data Exchange documentation (file DataExchangeManual.chm) for information about installing the software. If Data Exchange is installed to a Unicode path the help file will not be able to open. Copy DataExchangeManual.chm to a non-Unicode path to view it.</li>
<li type="disc">Before installing Data Exchange on Windows Vista or Windows 7 Operating System, please first turn off UAC (User Account Control).</li>

<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Supported workflows for exchange of data are:</font></li>
<ul>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Productstream Professional 2011 --> Vault 2011 --> Productstream Professional 2011</font></li>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Vault 2011 --> Productstream Professional 2011 --> Vault 2011</font></li>
</ul>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Data Exchange will not maintain X-Refs for AutoCAD and AutoCAD Mechanical drawings.</font></li> 
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Renaming the AIP/iPart/iAssembly files during import to Vault, and then importing them back into Productstream Professional may lead to loss of references.</font></li> 
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">During the import process, if there are any name collisions for library files, there will be no conflict link since library files are read-only. A workaround is to delete the library file in Vault.</font></li> 
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">If text ‘String or binary data would be truncated’ is displayed in Conflict Description column when importing the package to Productstream Professional, it means that there is some property value which is longer than the field to which it is mapped.</font></li> 
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">If option “Enforce Unicode File Names” is checked in Vault, importing two different library files with the same file name, will result in the second library file not being imported into Vault. A workaround is to uncheck the “Enforce Unicode File Names” option.</font></li> 
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Attachments in Vault cannot be converted into Secondary files when imported to Productstream Professional.</font></li> 
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Exporting an Inventor assembly with customized library components from Vault via Data Exchange, then importing them into Productstream Professional may result in the customized library components to be not display under Uses tab for the assembly in Productstream Professional.</font></li>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Because of the different policies for property management between Vault and Productstream Professional, after importing Vault dataset into Productstream Professional, we recommend to update the properties of the imported dataset in Productstream Professional.</font></li>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">In order to publish DWF(x) files for Inventor iParts or Inventor iAssembly files, Data Exchange requires that Microsoft Office Excel 2003 or 2007 is intalled.</font></li>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Export of files from Vault may fail if the specified path (maximum of 248 characters) or file name (maximum of 260 characters) are too long. A workaround is to set a shorter export work folder in the section &lt;ExportWorkFolder/&gt;

   of Data Exchange Options.xml.</font></li>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Results of Stress Analysis may be lost after importing an Inventor Assembly/Part file with its Stress Analysis information from Productstream Professional to Vault. The workaround is to open the file in Inventor and run simulation again.</font></li>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">Material for the Inventor file with Stress Analysis information may be lost after importing it into Productstream Professional. The workaround is to change the value of the attribute, "Use Style Library" to "Yes" or "Read-only" in cmpinv11.ipj.</font></li>
<li type = "disc"><font size="2" face="Tahoma">If you have installed Data Exchange 2011 on a machine where the previous version was installed before and after launching Data Exchange 2011 the user data (Data Exchange Options.xml) will be backed up into a folder named DEXBackup.x (x stands for a number) that's been created from the  installation of the previous version. It is recommended to set the Visualization options and property mapping options manually by comparing the backed up data (Data Exchange Options.xml).</font></li>
<li><font size="2" face="Tahoma">&quot;Automatically log in next session&quot; option in login dialog is not supported.</font></li>
