• Using Autodesk^® Design Review 2010 default print settings to print to PDF creators may result in large print spooling sizes, low-quality output, or printing errors. Solution: Apply the Autodesk^® Design Review 2010 Hotfix.

Warning: This hotfix should only be applied after installing Design Review 2010. Improperly modifying or replacing DLL files can render a program unusable. Install this hotfix at your own risk.

Hotfix Installation Instructions

To install Autodesk^® Design Review 2010 Hotfix, follow the installation instructions for your operating system.

1. Close all software applications.
2. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the EComposite folder, for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review\EComposite.
3. In this folder locate and rename the following file. (Renaming the existing DLL enables you to recover it if necessary.)
   1. Locate EPlotRenderer.dll and rename it to EPlotRenderer.old
4. Download the Hotfix zip file and extract it to the EComposite folder. (The Hotfix zip file contains an updated version of EPlotRenderer.dll.)
5. Register the new DLL file.
   1. Click Start > Run.
   2. In the Open text box, type regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review\EComposite\EPlotRenderer.dll" and click OK.
   3. When notified that the DLL was registered successfully, click OK.

2. Unregister the old DLL file.
   1. Click Start.
   2. In the Start Search text box, type regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review\EComposite\EPlotRenderer.dll" /u and click OK.
   3. When notified that the DLL was unregistered successfully, click OK.
3. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the EComposite folder, for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review\EComposite.
4. In this folder locate and rename the following file. (Renaming the existing DLL enables you to recover it if necessary.)
   1. Locate EPlotRenderer.dll and rename it to EPlotRenderer.old

6. Register the new DLL file.
