Who Should Install the Service Pack?
This service pack, ARD2007_SP1.exe,
is for all language versions of Autodesk Raster Design 2007.
- During the installation of this update, you will be prompted for
the original installation CD or network image.
Important: You cannot run an automatic uninstall to remove
this service pack. To restore your version of Autodesk Raster Design 2007 to
its pre–service pack state, uninstall Autodesk Raster Design 2007 and reinstall
it.
If you have additional AutoCAD-based
products installed on your computer, you may need to apply additional service
packs to ensure all the products continue to work properly after you install
the Autodesk Raster Design 2007 Service Pack 1.
These include the following service packs:
- AutoCAD 2007 SP1
- Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2007 SP1
- Autodesk Map 3D 2007 SP3
- Autodesk Land Desktop 2007 SP2
- Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 SP3
For example, if you have Autodesk Map 3D
2007 installed on the same computer as Autodesk Raster Design 2007, you must
install both Autodesk Map 3D 2007 SP3 and Autodesk Raster Design 2007 SP1 to
ensure that both products continue to work properly.
The Windows command line switches built into
this service pack are as follows:
- /e - Extracts the MSP file from the service pack executable.
- /q - Suppresses the completion message after the service pack is
applied. This is useful if you use a script or batch file to apply the
service pack to multiple computers.
Instructions about how to use these command
line switches are included in the procedures that follow.
- Download ARD2007_SP1.exe and save it to any folder.
- Insert your Autodesk Raster Design 2007 CD into your CD drive.
- Navigate to the folder where you saved the service pack.
- Double-click the executable file for the service pack to install
it.
The following two methods of distributing
Autodesk Raster Design 2007 Service Pack 1 apply only to administrative images
created with the Autodesk Deployment Wizard. After you complete these
procedures, any new deployments of Autodesk Raster Design 2007 will have the
service pack applied to them automatically.
NOTE: In both of the following procedures, the service pack file that you
download contains an MSP (Microsoft Patch) file. You must extract that file
from the executable file. To extract the MSP file from the executable, use the
/e ("extract") switch.
