Update 1 is for Autodesk Topobase Web 2009, in all languages, running on all supported operating systems.

Action Required

For a complete Topobase Web 2009 update you must install the Topobase Client 2009 Update 1 and update the Topobase System User (TBSYS) and the documents. We recommend performing these steps before you install the Topobase Web 2009 Update.

NOTE: You can only update the document structure in the database using Topobase Client or Administrator.

General Information

This Readme contains information regarding the installation and use of this update.

NOTE: To work with Topobase Web you do not need the Oracle 10g R2.2 patch.

During the installation of this update, you may be prompted for the original installation DVD.

Once this update is applied, you cannot run an automatic uninstall to remove the update. To undo update changes, uninstall and then reinstall the product.

Updates to Topobase Web 2009

The following defects have been fixed:

COGO

• You cannot use COGO functions in Topobase Web.

MapGuide

• In the Ajax Viewer, the position finder cannot zoom to the selected object.

Plot

• When you set Internet Explorer's language to German, a plot frame fails to display.
• When you print a picture from plot, the scale of the printed picture is incorrect.

  NOTE: Topobase Web prints all plots in Portrait in order to print the plot with the correct scale. If you want to print a plot with a Landscape orientation, you must set the paper orientation to Portrait. If you set the paper orientation to Landscape, your plot will overflow from a single page to two pages.

• When you set Internet Explorer's language to German, the DWF Preview Plot does not work correctly.
• When you preview your plot in the DWF Viewer, the capture map does not work correctly.
• The preview plot fails to display in Topobase Web (German language version only).

This update can be used with the following:

• Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Service Pack 3 (SP3) of the following operating system:
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition
• The following operating systems and Service Pack 1 (SP1) of the following operating systems:
  • Microsoft Windows Vista^® Enterprise
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Business
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate

Follow these instructions to install this update on a single computer.

1. From the Product Support web site, download the update file.
2. Copy and unzip the TB2009_Web_SP1.zip to a temporary folder on your computer. Run the two files and follow the on-screen instructions.

Update 1 contains two files for the following update:

• TBWeb_*.exe updates the Topobase Web Extensions.

The order of installation is irrelevant. Both files must be installed.
