This readme contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply this update to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

This hotfix applies to the following products:

• AutoCAD^® Civil 3D 2011 Russian 32bit
• AutoCAD^® Civil 3D 2011 Russian 64bit

• 1st issue: (Functionality issue)
  • Issue: Pipe Network rule “Cover Only” no longer works in Russian Civil 3D 2011 version because the rule name has been changed in 2011 Russian release
  • Resolution: By reverting the pipe network rule name from “Заглубление” back to “Покрытие” the rule will be compatible with previous releases
• 2nd issue: (Translation issue)
  • Issue: In Add Regions (command _AddCorrRegions) right-click menu, the string "Насыпь" is incorrect
  • Resolution: String has been corrected to "Заполнить"
• 3rd issue: (Translation issue)
  • Issue: When creating alignment from object (command _CreateAlignmentEntities), the tooltip string "S-образная" is incorrect
  • Resolution: String has been corrected to "Обратить"
• 4th issue: (Translation issue)
  • Issue: In “Network Parts List” dialog box, the string "Конструкции" is incorrect
  • Resolution: String has been corrected to "Колодцы"
• 5th issue: (Help videos update)
  • Issue: Some videos in the Map 3D help section contained incorrect pronunciation and terminology
  • Resolution: Videos have been re-created
• 6th issue: (Country Kit issue)
  • Issue: After the installation of the Russian Country Kit, some important dialog box titles have been reverted back to English
  • Resolution: By replacing the Profile.aws file with the updated one in the hotfix, the dialog box titles get corrected back to Russian
• 7th issue: (Translation issue)
  • Issue: In the main menu, the strings “Открытый” and “П&убликация” are incorrect
  • Resolution: These have been corrected to “Открыть” and “Публикация” respectively

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to complete the installation process.

NOTE: This installation process requires you to modify an installed product, which may cause Windows security warnings to appear. For all Windows security warnings that appear during installation, click Continue.

1. On the computer where the affected product is installed, close all software applications.
2. Download the appropriate 32bit or 64bit zip file and extract it to a location on your local computer.
3. Navigate into the hotfix extracted folder and select the following *.dll files:
   • AeccNetworkrus.dll
   • AeccPipeRuleScriptsRC.dll
   • AeccStockSubassemblyScriptsRC.dll
   • AeccUiLandrus.dll
   • AeccUiNetworkrus.dll
   • AeccUiRoadwayrus.dll
   • AeccvBaserus.dll
   • AeccXPiperus.dll
4. Right-click and select Copy
5. Navigate into the folder where your AutoCAD Civil 3D product is installed, for example, C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011
6. Right-click and select Paste. When you are asked to overwrite the existing files, answer Yes
7. Proceed similarly to previous steps to overwrite the following files into their respective directories. Please refer to section Files Patched by This Hotfix below to find directory path according to the Operating System used (Windows 7, Vista, XP). Files to overwrite:
   • Aeccpartparamcfg.xml
   • AeccSharedPropertyLists.xml
   • Profile.aws
   • acmap.chm
   • AeccUIWindows.resources.dll
   • C3DStockSubassemblyScripts.codes

NOTE: Profile.aws can only be replaced if the Country Kit had been installed in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011.
