Lineweight value changes after updating wire network Hotfix

This hotfix repairs a problem that lineweight value changes after updating wire network.

Prerequisites

• You must have AutoCAD® Electrical 2010 Update 1 installed.
• You will need administrative privileges.

Note: This hotfix will update all language versions.

Installation Instructions

1. Exit AutoCAD Electrical if running.
2. Download the appropriate hotfix

• For 32 bit operating systems - DL16930293.zip
• For 64 bit operating systems - DL16930293_x64.zip

3. Find the product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Acade 2010\Acade.
4. In this folder, right-click the AceWireType.arx file and select Properties.
5. In Windows XP, click the Version tab, in Windows Vista click the Details tab. Confirm the file version.

• If this file is version 7.0.52.0, please install AutoCAD Electrical 2010 Update 1 before proceed with this installation.
• If this file is version 7.1.0.2, then proceed with this installation.
• If this file is version 7.1.0.3, then this hotfix has already been applied.

6. Goto product installation folder, right click on "AceWireType.arx" and rename it to "AceWireType.bak" to retain the original file as backup.
7. Double-click the downloaded file.
8. Extract AceWireType.arx to the product installation folder (for example, C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Acade 2010\Acade)
9. Verify the version of the replaced file by right-clicking on the new AceWireType.arx file and select Properties. In Windows XP click the Version tab, in Windows Vista click the Details tab. Confirm this file is version 7.1.0.3.

NOTE: To remove this HOTFIX, delete the new AceWireType.arx file and the rename the file AceWireType.bak back to its original name of AceWireType.arx.
