The Smoke on Mac application imports ProRes files directly.
For applications running on Linux, you need to import the ProRes material through a Wiretap Gateway running on a Mac. The installation documentation explains how to install such a Wiretap Gateway. You can then connect through the Network Panel to Wiretap Gateway running on the Mac and import the ProRes files.
The following Apple ProRes codecs are supported.
