Blending Frames Using Mix Values

Mixing frames takes an equal number of frames from both sides of a given frame and blends them together.

Clip before Mix is applied

Clip after a Mix value of 6.0 is applied

To set the mix value of a timewarp from the Record Area:

1. Select the element you want to modify and apply a Timewarp soft effect.
2. In the Timewarp quick menu, select Mix from the Timewarp Processing option box.

   The Mix field appears.

3. Enter a mix value in the Mix field.

   You can also create a timewarp that uses a variable mix value in the Timewarp Editor. See Creating Variable Speed Timewarps.

4. Click Process to process the clip.
   NoteIf your timewarp contains a mix value, you can also preview the result in the Player without rendering by using Preview FX mode.
