The EditDesk provides the primary working space for performing edits and applying effects. When you first enter Smoke, the EditDesk appears. The EditDesk is divided into four regions: the EditDesk list, the Source Area, the EditDesk menu,
and the Record Area.

NoteIf you try to access a project on a remote framestore that is already in use, you will not be able to access that project's
EditDesk; instead, you will go directly to the project's clip library.
