To colour match using the Tryptych player:
- Click the Layout button and select the Tryptych player, or swipe to the side of the side of the Viewing Panel to prompt the
Layout Selection Overlay.
- Move the positioners over the elements you want to use for the colour match. See Comparing Three Shots in the Triptych Player.
- Click the FX button or right-click on the clip and select Add Effect. The Effects Menu appears.
- Click the Colour Correct button.
- To enter the Colour Corrector menu, click the Colour Corrector in the Effects Pipeline or click the Enter Editor button.
- In the Colour Corrector editor, click the Curves tab to display the Curves menu.
- Click the Source colour pot.
- Plot the colour you want to modify by selecting it with the eyedrop cursor.
- Plot the match colour in Dest 1 or Dest 2.
- Specify the match parameters by enabling the Channel Match button and selecting a channel from the Channel Selection box.
- Click either Match 1 or Match 2.
The Match curves update. You can fine-tune the result by adjusting the curves handles.
