Insert Dynamic Block Scale Hotfix

This hotfix resolves the scale problem when inserting certain dynamic blocks.

Description of Problem

Certain dynamic blocks are inserted with incorrect scales when added after AutoCAD Architecture 2012 SP is installed.

Installation Instructions

To AEC Dimension Hang Hotfix

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft^®Windows^® operating system to complete the installation process.

This installation requires you to replace the following files:

• AecBase.dbx

To Replace the AecBase.dbx File

1. Close all software applications.
2. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Architecture 2012.
3. In the product installation folder, Copy AecBase.dbx to another position as a backup.
4. Download the file for your application to a location on your local computer:
   • Double click on ACA2012SP1_insert_dynamic_block_scale_hotfix_x86.zip or ACA2012SP1_insert_dynamic_block_scale_hotfix_x64.zip and extract AecBase.dbx to the folder specified in Step 2 and replace the old file.

To Uninstall This Hotfix

1. Delete the new AecBase.dbx files that you downloaded to the folder specified in Step 4 and restore the backup file in Step 3.
