Installing the Autodesk Learning Alias 2014 Courseware Files

Install the courseware files on Window

  1. Double-click the Autodesk Alias 2014 Courseware executable file.
  2. By default, the Help is installed to the following directory:

    C:\Temp

    To install to a different location, enter that location in the Destination folder field, or click Browse and select it.

    If the destination folder does not exist, it will be created automatically before extraction.

  3. Click Extract.
  4. Move the extracted CourseWare folder to your user-data folder:

    C:\Documents and Settings\[userid]\My Documents\Autodesk\Alias\user_data

Install the courseware files on Mac OS X

  1. Double-click the Autodesk Alias 2014 Courseware disk (.dmg) file.
  2. Drag the Help folder from the disk file to the following directory:

    /Documents/Autodesk/Alias/user_data

    If your user-data folder is in a different location,move the CourseWare folder to that location.

    You need write permissions to the folder in which you plan to install the courseware files.
