AUTODESK INVENTOR PROFESSIONAL 2009
- NG: Serious error when editing twist in a new Inventor session.
- CER: Crash when you click the Export to FEA icon for a mechanism with Micro Mechanisms.
- Cannot open the Properties dialog box of the Grounded group.
- Crash when activating Retain DOF followed by making a sub-assembly flexible.
- Migrating with 2D Contact joint displays the error message "Contact is no longer in XZ plane of the parent frame of joint..."
- In localized Inventor, a migrated mechanism fails to run if a variable is defined in the Input Grapher based on Time, which is not recognized after translation.
- Crash if the Print dialog box in OG is open and any command in the DS panel is invoked.
- Crash in the Stress Analysis environment if a model contains AutoLimits.
- Crash in mesh preview in specific cases.
- CER: Random crash when you perform a Tube & Pipe workflow with a specific combination of hardware and software.
- You cannot change the conduit names in a 64-bit version of Inventor.
- Inventor crashes when you edit styles in a Tube & Pipe template on Windows Vista 64-bit.
- Fails to get correct ISOGEN output in some special cases.
AUTODESK INVENTOR 2009
- NG: Drawing text objects are truncated if they contain a backslash ('\').
- NG: Various problems with VBA document projects on 64-bit.
- NG: Holding down the SHIFT key does not bypass VBA auto macros.
- NG: AutoSave macro is fired only the first time the document is saved.
- NG: Server busy dialog box makes modal dialogs unusable thru VBA in 64-bit.
- NG: Edit values in Excel and update an Inventor document, and the update does not happen.
- NG: FileManager.GetTemplateFile returns DIN templates instead of standard.
- NG: Memory consumption occurs when you manipulate the camera.
- FeaturePatternElement.Faces returns a count of 0 after calling Face.GetSourceFace.
- Using ReferencedFileDescriptor.ReplaceReference to resolve a missing reference file does not update the browser.
- Using ComponentOccurrence.Replace on an unresolved reference does not retain the original occurrence and constraints.
- Unexpected behavior in drawing text objects if the text contains "\Q" or "\q".
- Setting the DimensionText.FormattedText with "<<>>" when the HideValue is true results in an error.
- Problems with stacked text in drawing text objects.
- DrawingViewLabel.Text returns a formatted string instead of a display string.
- When you call InteractionGraphics.UpdateOverlayGraphics with Direct3D graphics hardware, a crash occurs.
- The OnNewView (kAfter) event does not fire in certain cases.
- In ReferenceKeyManager.CanBindKeyToObject, when you attempt to bind to a non-existing entity, a crash occurs.
- You cannot use a custom property in expressions if the display name of the property is not equal to its internal name.
- When you move the end of a part node above a client feature after you delete its dependency, a crash occurs.
- Deleting a client feature does not delete all its sketches.
- Documents.CloseAll method does not work in some situations.
- TextGraphics.RangeBox returns nothing in some situations.
- You cannot edit iFeatureDefinition.ActiveTableRow in certain cases.
- When you delete a client feature containing a derived assembly component, a crash occurs.
- Parameters retained after a client feature is deleted are not visible in the parameters dialog box.
- You cannot set the BendFeature.Unfold method.
- You have problems accessing the table of table driven iFeatures.
- The TextureMap.GetTextureCoordinateSet method fails in some cases.
- Toolbars are not cleaned up from the environment, even though they are deleted.
- If MouseEvents are advised inside InterationEvents::OnActivate, a crash occurs.
- DrawingCurve.ModelGeometry returns an invalid entity for section drawing views.
- You encounter significant performance issues when you execute VBA macros in 64-bit.
- NG: Textures map wrongly in render output if the component is patterned in a circle and the texture name contains &X or &Z.
- Performance is slow when you place a sketch on a face on a complex body, and the AutoLimits add-in is loaded.
- Multi-Sheet Plot affects the dimension text in some cases.
- You can only undo one time when an animation node is activated and at least one action exists.
- While you play an animation in a customer assembly file, animation halts with an error message "Model has failed to update for the current time…."
- You can use only part of a helical curve as a camera path.
- When you edit the action of an inactive lighting and then click Animate Camera, a crash occurs.
- Patterned thread is not rendered.
- CER: When you mirror a content center component, a crash occurs.
- CER: The result is incorrect when you mirror a component in a weldment containing a fillet weld.
- CER: When you delete a cosmetic weld that is created on the edge of groove weld, a crash occurs
- NG: Degrees of freedom are not correct for pattern parts.
- In an insert/paste operation, inserting a number with decimals (e.g. 3.125)into the cell of a custom column/number type within the BOM editor results in loss of the decimal values (result is 3.00).
- The BOM window increases in size each time you open it.
- A general system error displays when you edit in-place a subassembly and copy a part that has an assembly feature.
- If you click the constraint node in the browser, focus changes to the text box at the bottom of the browser.
- When you place a constraint and press the BACKSPACE key outside the dialog box window, a crash occurs.
- When you delete a derived subassembly, a crash occurs.
- An assembly feature becomes inactive when you drag it back to its original location in the browser.
- No distance offset input prompt is available after the last free drag face mate is completed in grip snap.
- Change of representation in assembly design view representations dialog has no effect.
- When you refresh a file with nested subassemblies, a crash occurs.
- Component pattern instances show incorrect degrees of freedom.
- When you close the iProperties dialog box on suppressed components, a crash ocurs.
- You cannot access the origin folder while a substitute rep is active.
- Seed elements of patterned assembly components display incorrect degrees of freedom.
- Base component incorrectly needs to be saved after you update a derived part.
- CER: When you use Autodrop on multiple targets, a crash occurs.
- CER: Various Autodrop crashes.
- CER: Autodrop crashes on a Content Center family which was edited.
- Main CC window consumes and never releases the memory.
- Library Update can be initiated by a user with limited permissions, which leads to a crash.
- A change of the language is not applied to descriptions of edited families.
- When you place some families from T&P categories, a crash occurs.
- It is not possible to place a feature in the root branch in favorites.
- Filters works only for a Merged View in the CC Editor.
- Crash in the Place from CC or Open from CC commands.
- You cannot place a CC part with edited mapping.
- All members in a family have the same thread hole data in the Japanese environment.
- you cannot open the Configure library dialog box after you migrate former user libraries.
- Launch of the Advance search dialog box is slow.

- CER: In a drawing beam preview, in some cases a crash occurs.
- CER: When you execute Rebuild All on DAcc components with threads, a crash occurs.
- CER: A quick exit occurs after you execute DisconnectHole.
- CER: A quick exit occurs during initialization of the DAcc dialog box.
- A CAM template looses CAM material.
- In CAMs, "Motion End Position" should not be disabled when you click Add before on the last segment.
- In Gears, values in the Design More and Calculation More dialog boxes are not updated after you import a template.
- Material in Key columns is assigned randomly.
- The shaft axis is along z, but in previous releases it was along x.
- Insert Continuous Load on a default shaft causes the length to go red.
- CER: Linear dimensions cause program instability after promote to sketch.
- CER: When you try to remove a row from a table, a crash occurs.
- CER: When you edit assembly parameters after deleting the related view in IDW, a crash occurs.
- CER: When you turn off visibility of an edge in a view, random crashes occur.
- NG: Hide dimension value in edit dimension dialog box causes a wrong cursor relocation.
- NG: Retrieve dimensions changes when IDW migrates from R10 to R2009.
- NG: Old versions of Inventor DWG have different behavior than IDW files.
- When you attach a balloon to an existing linear balloon, it attaches in the wrong position.
- You canot create an angular dimension on an ISO broken view.
- Dimensions don't turn sick when edges are lost.
- Angular and arc length dimensions are wrong on a 180 degree arc.
- Dimensions shift on certain IDWs when migrated to R2009.
- Radial model dimensions do not update with a model change.
- Dimensions with a prefix/suffix are wrong on edit.
- You cannot insert AutoCAD blocks as symbols.
- Inventor DWG files have save issues when using shared project.
- Thumbnail previews are lost for DWG (inventor DWG or AutoCAD DWG) files in the Open dialog box.
- An error dialog box displays when you invoke the iProperties dialog box.
- Datum target shifts when IDW migrates to R2009.
- Undo/Redo of dimension style edits causes all sheets to be dirty.
- Opening and closing an IDW with numerous dimensions causes a crash.
- User override of column Heading is lost after a change of substitution or member selection.
- IDW performance is slow on Inventor 64-bit for very large assemblies.
- Serious error after undo of a copy/paste sheet with a revision table.
- A configuration table remains on the drawing, even after you delete the iPart factory.
- Migrated R2008 IDW with generic table is blank when used as a template in R2009.
- Dimensions on a coil feature change position upon placement of the dimension.
- Hatch does not update correctly after a view rotate.
- Weld annotation does not migrate correctly from Inventor 10.
- CER: Crash on DWGOUT of certain IDWs on Vista 32 Sp1.
- CER: When you save to PDF a drawing that contain some especial ellipses, a crash occurs.
- When you save to DWF, DWFx, or PDF, hidden lines such as initial gap, broken dashed, and dotted come out badly.
- Wire harness is not displayed in ADR when you publish and use the Complete or Custom option.
- You cannot display cable wires in ADR when you publish in Express and Memory Saving modes.
- Certain DWG files fail on DWGIN.
- All angular dimensions are wrong: they are equal to 360 - actual dimension.
- You cannot export a sketch to DWG/DXF.
- There are problems with hole note leaders when you export IDW to DWG.
- When you save a drawing to PDF, if you set the Decimal Symbol to a comma, you get a blank PDF.
- An arrow is not selectable inside a comment.
- Wrong symbol "*" in the font GOST Common.
- Published structural shape parts do not have the correct material when placed with Frame Generator.
- While you create a frame, if you insert a tube as the element of the frame, there is a difference between the centerline of the tube and the defining route.
- When you delete stale references or modify assembly work features or skeletons in the Frame Generator environment, a crash occurs.
- NG: Failed to launch Excel by a double-click on a browser node in a specific dataset.
- NG: If all referenced parts are not available, you cannot pan a current view with the middle mouse button.
- The wrong default file name is set for a neutral file when you save it with a newly-entered name.
- You can no longer save a file after you change the edit target and after running VBA code.
- Design view rep does not work when an assembly is opened. The design view does not display correctly, and home view takes over.
- After you cancel the resolver link dialog box when driving a derived sheet metal part, a crash occurs.
- Inventor crashes when you Rebuild All for a large Data Set on Windows XP x64 edition.
- When you update mass properties in an existing Inventor file, a crash occurs.
- While you drag grips of a centerline bisector, a crash occurs.
- An error occurs when you import an Application Options XML file from a localized Inventor, or when you select 'New from Template' in the Application Options.
NOTE: To make this fix work, delete the following registry key before you launch Inventor:
KCU\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion13.0\System\Preferences\File\StartUpTemplate
- The image is chopped off in transition.
- Some sheet metal files with many bend style records with more than 599 characters cause a crash.
- Overall thread length of NPT threads is available in threads.xls, but not available in the Inventor UI.
- You can mark only two work planes for export when you have more than three correlative workplanes.
- You cannot create a loft with a sketch containing construction geometry.
- The Zoom select command causes the application to crash.
- When you open a customer migrated dataset, a crash occurs.
- You cannot edit the "included file" path in the Project Editor in Vista.
- Flat pattern fails due to an incorrectly created bend in a particular R2008 part.
- Invalid result error displays when you change the edge selection order on a corner in a specific part.
- Bend transition is causing an R2008 part to self-intersect on an overlap corner.
- Fails to create the same corner on a R2008 part with small gaps.
- When you create a corner on a particular R2008 part with offset flanges and fold, a crash occurs.
- An R2008 part fails to generate symmetric geometry on corners using the Perpendicular option.
- When you edit a particular customer sheet metal part with two consecutive cut-across-bends, a crash occurs.
- Output bend lines of a flat pattern created in a legacy DataM Unfolder go to wrong layers in DXF or DWG files.
- An R2008 part with certain flanges has bend transition intersected on Rebuild All.
- An R2008 part with a certain bend transition fails to migrate.
- When you edit a fold feature in non-English versions, a crash occurs.
- When you insert a punch tool with a fillet, the software hangs.
- When you copy one geometry and one GeoText, and then paste them into another sketch, a crash occurs.
- When you create a new style library located under the design data folder, multiple folder locations are created.
- When you harvest sheet metal styles, the SM styles that contain references to parameters are silently rejected by the Style Library Manager.
- The Style Library Manager reports differences when a legacy library is migrated, because of unit spacing.
- NG: You cannot set some options for the Translator AddIn in the API on an x32 machine.
- A missing Translation report template causes a crash when you open a file that results in an error report.
- When you import a SolidWorks file with a name containing a period ("."), a wrong default folder name is created for the destination folder.
- When you import a SolidWorks multi-solids file, you cannot save an assembly file into a specified 'Assembly' destination folder.
- NX import translator does not support version NX5.0.2.2 for assembly files.
- When you use "flip normal" against a work feature in an imported NX file, a crash occurs.
- You cannot export to XGL/ZGL on an x64 OS.
- The welds are lost after you export a welded assembly to IGES or STEP.
- When you remove a layer key in the ABS Publishing Options dialog box, a crash occurs.
- CER: When you cloe Inventor after you add a project, a crash occurs.
- CER: When you create a shortcut on a deleted file, a crash occurs.
- CER: When you close Inventor after you place an assembly into IPN/IDW, a crash occurs.
- When you ckeck in a large assembly with DWFx publish, a crash occurs.
- The progress bar for Check In does not close when you check in an IDW/DWG with DWF publish.
- DWF iProperties are blank when you check in to Vault.
- In Vista 64, when you click Reset twice in the Toolbars tab, a crash occurs.
- When you execute Open from Vault with EDM AddIn unloaded, a crash occurs.
- When you create a drawing with VBA, a crash occurs.
- When you insert an iPart member, the software creates a new member instead of using the one stored in Vault
.
- A suppressed file might not download if you try to unsuppress it directly after you open a LOD without local copies from vault.
