In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released a second update to the Standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 11.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
=============================

- You must have Administrator privileges on your local machine to install Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 11.

- The stand alone Autodesk Inventor View can NOT be installed on the same system where Autodesk Inventor 11 software has been installed. Autodesk Inventor 11 already contains this utility built in.

- SP1 for Autodesk Inventor View 11 is a pre-requisite for SP2 to be installed. That is, Autodesk Inventor 11 SP2 will install onto Autodesk Inventor 11 SP1 only.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
=============================

(1) Download the stand alone version of Autodesk Inventor View and its corresponding SP1 and SP2 files.
    That is: "Autodesk_Inventor_View_R11.zip", "InventorView11_SP1.msp" and "InventorView11_SP2.msp" respectively.

(2) Unzip Autodesk_Inventor_View_R11.zip.

(3) Double-click setup.exe to begin the installation of Inventor View 11.  Click Finish when done.

(4) Double click "InventorView11_SP1.msp" to update Autodesk Inventor View 11 with SP1. Click Finish when done.

(5) Double click "InventorView11_SP2.msp" to update Autodesk Inventor View 11 SP1 with SP2. Click Finish when done.

(6) Reboot the system after the installation is complete.

Notes

This tool allows users to view native Autodesk Inventor CAD data.

The size of the stand alone version of Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 11 is approximately 160 MB. You must have a minimum of 250 MB of free disk space on the drive where your temporary files are directed for Autodesk Inventor View install to complete successfully.
