In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released an update to the Standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 2008.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
=============================

- You must have Administrator privileges on your local machine to install Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 2008.

- The stand alone Autodesk Inventor View can NOT be installed on the same system where Autodesk Inventor 2008 software has been installed. Autodesk Inventor 2008 already contains this utility built in.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
=============================

(1) Download the stand alone version of Autodesk Inventor View (Autodesk_Inventor_View_R2008.zip) and the corresponding SP1 file "InventorView2008_SP1.msp".

(2) Unzip Autodesk_Inventor_View_R2008.zip.

(3) Double-click setup.exe to begin the installation.  Click Finish when done.

(4) Double click "InventorView2008_SP1.msp" to update Autodesk Inventor View R2008 to SP1.

(5) Reboot the system after the installation is complete.

This tool allows users to view native Autodesk Inventor CAD data.

The size of the stand alone version of Autodesk Inventor View for Autodesk Inventor 2008 is approximately 170 MB. You must have a minimum of 200 MB of free disk space on the drive where your temporary files are directed for Autodesk Inventor View install to complete successfully.
