In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Service Pack 1 for the standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2009.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
- The standalone Autodesk Inventor View 2009 can NOT be installed on the same system where Autodesk Inventor 2009 software has been installed. Autodesk Inventor 2009 already contains this utility.
- Verify you have administrator privileges on your local machine to install Autodesk Inventor View 2009 SP1.
- On Windows Vista installations, disable the User Account Control feature.
- The 32-bit version of standalone Autodesk Inventor View 2009 SP1 is approximately 4 MB in size. A minimum of 10 MB of free disk space is required on the drive where your temporary files are directed.
- The 64-bit version of standalone Autodesk Inventor View 2009 SP1 is approximately 13 MB in size. A minimum of 30 MB of free disk space is required on the drive where your temporary files are directed.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: On 32-bit Autodesk Inventor View 2009, install only the 32-bit Autodesk Inventor View 2009 SP1.
NOTE: On 64-bit Autodesk Inventor View 2009, install only the 64-bit Autodesk Inventor View 2009 SP1.
To install standalone Autodesk Inventor View 2009 Service Pack 1:
- If you do not have it installed, download the standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2009: Either the 32-bit or 64-bit version depending upon your operating system type.
- Unzip the Autodesk Inventor View 2009 file to a local folder and double click on the setup.exe to begin the installation. Click Finish when done.
- Download Autodesk Inventor View 2009 Service Pack 1: Either the 32-bit or 64-bit version depending upon your operating system type.
- Double click on the .msp file to update Autodesk Inventor View 2009 with Service Pack 1.
- If required, reboot the system after the service pack has finished installing.
To verify installation is successful, start standalone Autodesk Inventor View. On the Help menu, select About Inventor View. The installation is successful if the About box displays: "Build: 278, Release: 2009 SP1."
