In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this Service Pack 3 for the standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010. This file highlights installation of the service pack.

• This tool allows users to view native Autodesk Inventor 2010 CAD data.
• The standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010 can NOT be installed on the same system as Autodesk Inventor 2010. Autodesk Inventor 2010 already contains this View utility and that version will be updated with Inventor by installing Autodesk Inventor 2010 Service Pack 3.
• Install only the bit-type version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 3 that corresponds to the bit-type version of your installation of the standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010.
• Have the original installation disc or network image readily accessible. During installation, or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation disc or network image.

• Verify you have administrator privileges on your local machine to install Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 3.
• On Windows Vista and Windows 7 installations, disable the User Account Control feature.
• The 32-bit version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 3 is approximately 13 MB in size. A minimum of 350 MB of free disk space is required on the drive where your temporary files are directed.
• The 64-bit version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 3 is approximately 26 MB in size. A minimum of 550 MB of free disk space is required on the drive where your temporary files are directed.

To install Service Pack 3 for the standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010:
1. Install the standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010.
2. Update your operating system before installing Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 1, especially KB952696 for Vista. Reboot your system after the updates are installed.
3. Install Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 1.
4. Install Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 2.
5. Download the appropriate version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 3, either 32-bit or 64-bit, depending upon the bit type of your operating system.
6. Double click the .msp file to update the standalone version of Autodesk Inventor View 2010 with Service Pack 3. A progress bar displays while the installer updates the files on your system. When done, click Finish.
7. If required, reboot the system after the service pack installation is finished.



To verify the installation was successful, start Autodesk Inventor View 2010 Service Pack 3. On the Help menu, select About Inventor View. If the About box displays: Build: 272 , Release: 2010 SP3, the installation was successful.
