Parallel Pipe Hotfix

Description of Problem

When creating pipe segments using the Parallel Pipe command the new pipe segments will take on the layer of the baseline pipe regardless of the system definition of the parallel pipe.

Installation Instructions

To Install the Parallel Pipe Hotfix

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft^® Windows^® operating system to complete the installation process.

This installation requires you to replace the following files:

• AecbPipe.arx
• AecbUiBldSrv.arx

To Replace theAecbPipe.arx & AecbUiBldSrv.arx Files

1. Close all software applications.
2. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2010.
3. Rename the affected original file.
   
   • In the product installation folder, right-click the file AecbPipe.arx and rename it AecbPipe.bak.
   • In the product installation folder, right-click the file AecbUiBldSrv.arx and rename it AecbUiBldSrv.bak.
4. Based on the product you have installed, double click the appropriate file.
   
   • Parallel_Pipe_Hotfix_32bit.zip or Parallel_Pipe_Hotfix_64bit.zip.
5. Extract the files AecbPipe.arx & AecbUiBldSrv.arx to the product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2010.
