============================================================= Notice to Productstream Compass 5 Sp2 Customers ============================================================= In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this Hotfix for Productstream Compass 5 Clients, which fixes a possible malfunction within the advanced search option. Download and installation is recommended for all Compass 5 installations with Sp2. This README file highlights how to download and install the HotFix and what has been fixed. ================================================================================ CONTENTS ========= - Installation Instructions - Summary of issues addressed by this HotFix - HotFix Download Location ================================================================================ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ========================= NOTE: Autodesk strongly recommends backing up the Productstream Compass installation PRIOR to installing this HotFix. To install this HotFix: (1) Download the Productstream Compass HotFix file "PSCompass_5_SP2_HotFix1.zip". (2) Make a backup copy of your Productstream Compass Server directory. (3) Extract the file of the downloaded ZIP directly to the Productstream Compass Server directory allowing overwrite of existing files and using folder names. The directory "Client" and the file "curlevel.ini" will be replaced. (4) The Productstream Compass Client will be updated automatically, when the Client is started the first time after the update. Ensure that the appropriate rights are available for the user. Otherwise the Client Setup has to be started manually with the appropriate rights. ========================================================================================== Summary of issues addressed in Productstream Compass HotFix: ========================================================================================== The HotFix addresses the following issue: Some operators like 'contains' or 'is' within the Advanced Search are accidentally mixed up.
