Revit 2012 Hotfix for
Cloud Rendering
Description of Problem
If you installed the Autodesk Cloud Rendering
add-in, cloud rendering will not work after installing the following Revit 2012
hotfix:
Hotfix – Autodesk Revit 2012 – Improves
stability when working with large datasets (64-bit only)
This hotfix addresses the incompatibility.

Installation Instructions
NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft®
Windows® operating system to complete the installation process.
NOTE: You must have Autodesk Revit 2012 Update 2 installed on
the system in order to apply this hotfix.
NOTE: This hotfix applies to the 64-Bit release of Revit 2012
only.
This
installation requires you to replace the following file:
To Install the Hotfix on a 64-bit system
- Close all software applications.
- Make sure Autodesk Revit Architecture \ MEP \ Structure
2012 Update 2 is installed on the system.
- Make sure Autodesk Cloud Rendering add-in is installed
on the system
- Navigate to your product installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Autodesk
Revit 2012 Cloud Rendering
- Rename the affected original file.
- In the add-in installation folder, right-click the RaaSApplication.dll file and rename it RaaSApplication.bak.
- Extract the Revit2012_CloudRendering_hotfix_x64.zip to
a shared folder.
- Copy the RaaSApplication.dll
located in the x64 folder to C:\Program
Files (x86)\Autodesk\Autodesk Revit 2012 Cloud Rendering
