Installation Instructions

NOTE: You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft^® Windows^® operating system to complete the installation process.

NOTE: You must have Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010 installed on the system in order to apply this hotfix.

This installation requires you to replace the following file:

• UIFrameworkInterop.dll

To Install the Hotfix on a 32-bit system

1. Close all software applications.
2. Make sure the Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010 is installed on the system.
3. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit <ProductName> 2010\Program
4. Rename the affected original file.
• In the product installation Program folder, right-click the UIFrameworkInterop.dll file and rename it UIFrameworkInterop.bak.
5. Extract the UIFrameworkInterop.dll located in the revit_2010_structural_settings_hotfix_x32.zip to C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit <ProductName> 2010\Program

To Install the Hotfix on a 64-bit system

1. Close all software applications.
2. Make sure the Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010 is installed on the system.
3. Navigate to your product installation folder; for example C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit <ProductName> 2010\Program
4. Rename the affected original file.
• In the product installation Program folder, right-click the UIFrameworkInterop.dll file and rename it UIFrameworkInterop.bak.
5. Extract the UIFrameworkInterop.dll located in the revit_2010_structural_settings_hotfix_x64.zip to C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit <ProductName> 2010\Program
