Displaying the Thumbnail View

You can display clips as thumbnails in the Viewing panel. Use the grid to snap thumbnails into position when moved.

To display clips as thumbnails:

1. In the Media panel, select the folder containing the clips you want to display.
2. From the View mode box, select Thumbnail.

To display a snap grid in the Viewing panel:

1. Make sure the Viewing panel is set to Thumbnail view.
2. From the menu bar, select Autodesk Smoke Preferences.
3. Under the User Interface tab, enable Snap To Grid.
4. Set your preferred grid size.
5. Set your preferred proxy height.
6. Click Close to close the Preferences dialog box.

   The Viewing panel displays a grid of the specified size.
