Stabilization Settings
- Effect field
-
Displays the percentage of smoothness used in the final stabilization output and determines how smooth the stabilization curves
are. Editable.
- Smoothness field
-
Displays the level of smoothness of the stabilization curves generated by the analysis and determines the mix between the
original motion and the completely stabilized transformation. Editable.
NoteThe Amount and Smoothness fields are active when the All Parameters button and the Lock Position buttons are not enabled.
- All Parameters button
-
Click to include all parameters in the stabilization. Click again to turn off all parameters.
- Position X button
-
Enable to include the X-axis position in the stabilization.
- Position Y button
-
Enable to include the Y-axis position in the stabilization.
- Rotation button
-
Enable to include the rotation in the stabilization.
- Scaling button
-
Enable to include scaling in the stabilization.
- Perspective button
-
Enable to include perspective in the stabilization.
- Lock All button
-
Click to link the parameter values at the reference frame to all frames in the analysis.
- Position X Lock button
-
Enable to link the X-axis position at the reference frame to all frames in the analysis.
- Position Y Lock button
-
Enable to link the Y-axis position at the reference frame to all frames in the analysis.
- Rotation Lock button
-
Enable to link the rotation at the reference frame to all frames in the analysis.
- Scaling Lock button
-
Enable to link scaling at the reference frame to all frames in the analysis.
NoteTo smooth rather than stabilize, ensure that all the Position Lock buttons are not enabled so that the Smoothness field is
active. You should unlock the transformations that you don't want completely stabilized and then adjust the Effect and Smoothness
fields to keep more or less of the original motion.
- Perspective Lock button
-
Enable to link the perspective at the reference frame to all frames in the analysis.
NoteYou can change the centre of rotation and scaling for the image. By default, the centre of rotation and scaling is the centre
of the image, represented by a yellow crosshair. Switch to Front view, then hold down C and click the new centre point.
