Particle (Legacy) Shader Presets

List of available Particle Shader presets. These can be applied to individual particles types to create specific effects or to a whole particle cloud to have all its particle types rendered in the same way. These shaders are to be used only with legacy (non-ICE) particles.

Particle Explosion (renders particles according to their explosion structures and particle types--smoke, flame, and sparks--when applied to a particle type)

Material\Particle_ExplosionV2

Particle Explosion V2 (renders particles according to their explosion structures and particle types--smoke, flame, and sparks--when applied to a particle type)

Material\Particle_FluidV2

Particle Fluid (renders particles so that they take on the shape and dynamics of fluid when applied to a particle cloud--similar to the Blob shader)

Material\Particle_Renderer

Particle Renderer (renders the output for all shaders attached to the particle cloud, including all particles types that are attached to the cloud)

Particle Billboard (renders particles as a 2D surface (a billboard) upon which you can create many different effects)

Texture\Particle_Old\Particle_Blob

Particle Blob (renders particles as 3D blobs that can blend into each other--by default, this shader is attached to the Fluid operator)

Particle Color (renders the color of the particle)

Legacy Particle Gradient (renders the particle's color using a color ramp (gradient)--by default, the gradient is determined by the particlesage%)'

Particle Scalar (allows you to override the settings for the particle type and output the particle simulation as scalar values)

Particle Shape (renders the shape of the particles, including the way the falloff (transparency) is calculated around the shape)

Particle Sphere (renders particles with a basic 3D sphere shape)

Particle Sprite (renders sprite image sequences that are used for the particle shape)
