Texture Shader Presets

List of available Texture Shader presets. These create either a 2D or 3D texture on or through an object. They can also be used to define a bump map.

Cell (creates a cell-like surface pattern on an object's surface)

Texture\Checkerboard

Checkerboard (creates a checkerboard pattern with adjustable colors and formats)

Texture\Cloud

Cloud (creates a cloud pattern texture on an object's surface)

Texture\Constant

Constant texture (creates a constant color or texture that is not affected by any illumination)

Texture\Constant_Black

Constant Black texture (creates a constant black color that is not affected by any illumination)

Fabric (creates a fabric pattern on an object's surface)

Texture\Flagstone

Flagstone (creates a flagstone/stained-glass pattern on the surface of an object)

Fractal (creates a fractal texture on the surface of an object)

Texture\Gradient

Gradient texture (creates definable color and alpha gradients with an adjustable pattern)

Texture\Grid

Grid (creates a grid pattern on the surface of an object)

Texture\Image

Texture Image (applies and deforms an image over a surface in a selected projection)

Texture\Map_lookup_boolean

Boolean Map Lookup (extracts or creates a texture map, weight map, or vertex RGBA property and outputs it as a boolean value which can be used to drive other shaders' parameters)

Color Map Lookup (extracts or creates a texture map, weight map, or vertex RGBA property and outputs it as a color value)

Integer Map Lookup (extracts or creates a texture map, weight map, or vertex RGBA property and outputs it as an integer value)

Scalar Map Lookup (extracts or creates a texture map, weight map, or vertex RGBA property and outputs it as a scalar value)

Vector Map Lookup (extracts or creates a texture map, weight map, or vertex RGBA property and outputs it as a vector value)

Texture\Marble

Marble (creates a highly definable marble texture on an object's surface)

Texture\Ripple

Ripple (creates a water-drop ripple on the surface of an object)

Texture\Rock

Rock (creates a rock texture on an object's surface)

Texture\ScalarImage

Scalar Image (nearly identical to the Image texture shader, but outputs a scalar value; if you are using an RGBA image, the scalar output is created using its intensity by default)

Texture\Snow

Snow (creates a snow texture on an object--used to simulate snow-covered objects)

Texture\Terrain

Terrain (creates a highly definable terrain pattern on the surface of an object--often used as a displacement map)

Texture\Vein

Vein (creates a vein texture on the surface of an object)

Texture\Vertex_rgba

Vertex RGBA Lookup (lets you render color, an alpha channel or luminance painted on vertices and stored at the geometry level)

Texture\Wood

Wood (creates a highly-definable wood texture on the surface of an object)

Texture\XSI_Model_Map

XSI Model Map (generates tangency data for a polygon mesh using a specified texture projection)
