Shortens guide curves on a hair object.

To apply: Select a point on each of one or more guide curves, and then choose Modify > Cut from the Hair panel. The guide curves appear to be cut to the corresponding length. Actually, no segments are removed; instead the guide curve is scaled to the required length and then refitted to the initial portion.

To display: Select the hair object, click the Selection button on the Select panel, and then click the Hair Cut Operator icon.

Mute	Toggles the deformation on and off without affecting the values of other parameters.
Offset	Allows you to change the hair point that was selected and cut. An offset of -1 cuts at the point before the one that was selected (resulting in shorter hair), a offset of +1 cuts at the point after, and so on.
